Ok so you get hired by the A.D. and he has a 2nd and there is only one talent. You are a P.A. help out the P.A.'s know your place. Someday you will be an A.D. but on this job you are not or the call sheet would say 2nd 2nd and your name behind it. If it does not say this then you are a P.A. You make all must hires look bad. If you don't want to be a P.A. then don't take the job. Let someone who needs it and that works twice as hard as you do it. Again just be aware because everyone you meet on the way up are the same ones you meet on the way down. One more thing scratching P.A. off your walkie does not change your position

In the independent film world- its so off putting that PAs are often written off as "Interns" or Students with no pay because they "don't have the budget" for it. **** I need to get me a hollywood gig.
